Dr. Ali Ather Azeem is an accomplished plastic surgeon known for his strong academic background and extensive hands-on experience in the field. He is widely regarded as one of Pakistan’s leading specialists in complex craniofacial and microvascular reconstructive surgery. Over the course of his career, he has gained comprehensive expertise across all areas of plastic surgery, having trained at top public sector institutions. He currently serves as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Bahria International Hospital and Bahria Safari Hospital in Rawalpindi.
His department is nationally recognized as the country’s only fully comprehensive craniofacial surgery unit and acts as a referral center for a wide range of complex craniofacial conditions, including craniofacial clefts, craniosynostosis, and hypertelorism. In addition, Dr. Ali is among the few surgeons in Pakistan who consistently perform advanced head and neck microvascular reconstruction through a multidisciplinary approach. His dedication to excellence has also been acknowledged internationally through his selection for the prestigious British Foundation for International Reconstructive Surgery and Training (BFIRST) fellowship scholarship for 2024.
